Do you lack intimacy within your relationship?

As a couple, are you having difficulty communicating effectively, experiencing trust issues, and engaging in constant arguments?

The relationship with your significant other is perhaps the most meaningful relationship you will experience and it’s devastating when your relationship deteriorates. You may find yourself feeling alonehelpless, and wondering if couples counseling is for you

You have come to the right place.

Are you struggling in your relationship and considering marriage counseling?

As time passes, couples experience different life phases and challenges, such as growing your family or dealing with the difficulties of aging, and you might find yourself wondering how your relationship became problematic and no longer a priority.

Many people experience the same thing, but it doesn’t have to be that way.

As part of our marriage counseling process, here at our office in Kent, Ohio or virtually, we help couples understand their partner’s perspective and learn to talk to one another without heated arguments that lead to both partners feeling misunderstood and disconnected. When you learn the skills to nurture your relationship and achieve a positive perspective, you experience a positive shift in your relationship. Happiness and security will increase, which leads to decreased stress and more time to focus on what you find important in your lives.

You Can Learn New Skills That Create a Positive Shift in Your Relationship

Our program was intentionally developed around the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy. Read about the process in our blog, Couples Counseling: Gottman Method Couples Therapy.

This method is one of the most popular approaches used for marriage counseling by therapists today. We chose this method intentionally. It has been researched for over 40 years and the interventions used have been proven to strengthen relationships. This method of marriage therapy is skill-based. These strategies benefit a couple by teaching them skills they can easily use outside of the couples counseling session. Men specifically are more drawn to this method because of its logistical and scientific approach. Its more than the typical therapy session. Our offices in Kent, or our virtual offices online, become a classroom for couples to learn evidence-based skills that will:
