Cindy Yamokoski is a licensed clinical psychologist who has experience working with individuals who have survived trauma, those with co-occurring PTSD and substance use disorders, military/Veteran population, and individuals with developmental/learning disabilities. She has extensive experience working with combat Veterans and men and women who have experienced sexual traumas, and conducting psychological assessments. She has specific training in Prolonged Exposure Therapy for PTSD and Cognitive Processing Therapy, and she is a national consultant for the Department of Veterans Affairs for Prolonged Exposure Therapy.
In addition to her work at Kent Psychological Associates, she is employed by the Department of Veterans Affairs and manages the PTSD programs for Cleveland and has assisted with special projects for the National Center for PTSD. At Kent Psychological Associates, she primarily conducts psychological assessments.
Outside of work she enjoys spending time with her family, reading and running.
