September Sloane, LISW-S is a licensed independent clinical social worker with experience working with a wide variety of individuals, ranging in age from 18 to over 90. She was drawn to this field because she enjoys helping individuals overcome life challenges, identify what is most important to them, and empowering them to reach their personal goals.
She utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Interpersonal Therapy in her work, and has helped clients who are experiencing depression, anxiety, panic attacks, life changes and stressors, grief and loss. She has a special interest in women’s issues and working with women of all ages, individuals coping with chronic pain/health issues, older adults and aging. In her spare time, she enjoys reading, nature, and spending time with her family.
